I got a couple of sample unit and they look nice and I like the silicone "seal" around the end panel which make it non-slip. I'm also hoping they can do custom holes in front panel at a reasonably cheap price even for low qty (like 20 units or maybe 50). I'll get a quote as soon as I finalized the front panel.

Fall back is fischerelektronik.de "AKG 55 24 80 SA" which is nearly identical, just a bit less wide and shorter. I'll try to make sure the PCB can easily be adapted for both. (obviously not the exact same PCB but so that the layout doesn't have to be re-made from scratch if we need to change)
E1/T1 Hardware Interface (including icE1usb) - Feature #3968: find enclosure for ICE40 E1 boardhttps://osmocom.org/issues/3968?journal_id=191632020-07-21T08:20:12Zlaforge

I think we can definitely go for MOQ-50 units, possibly even 100.

Note that if at some point we need to go back to the Fischer AKG, it shouldn't be "too" hard to fit it if we remove the support for the "GPIO" port of the front panel and mode the serial connector to the other side of the USB.

So it wouldn't be a full re-layout ...
