Binary Packages

Unless you're a developer and understand how to build a set of programs and librarires from source code using GNU autotools, we strongly suggest you use the binary packages provided by Osmocom.

Latest Versions

Osmocom maintains a set of binary packages that reflect the latest tagged versions as per the version tags in the source git repository. They are called network:osmocom:latest.

We recommend users to use the latest package feeds for most normal use cases.

See Latest_Builds for more information on how to use those builds.

Nightly Builds

Osmocom maintains another set of binary packages that are automatically built once every 24 hours from the master of the source git repository. They are called network:osmocom:nightly.

We recommend users to use nightly builds only if they want to stay with the bleeding edge, e.g. to test some bug fixes or new features that just were merged into master.

See Nightly_Builds for more information on how to use those builds.
