closedMobile in osmocom-bb not working

Description
i want read sim card status in gsm c118 phone ,use sylvain/testing branch ,my os is ubuntu 16.04(4.4.0-130-generic #156-Ubuntu SMP 2018 x86_64 ), intsall step accord below url.
when run mobile ,appears below error. how to fix the problem?

The 'sylvain/testing' is not intended for 'reading SIM cards', and remains unmaintained for years.
In order to use mobile application, you need to build the upstream 'master' branch.
Please close this issue, and next time make sure that you're using the upstream versions before reporting new issues.
