Description
we have net / encryption a5 configuration for GERAN.
Add similar commands for UTRAN, like net / encryption uea1 uea2
- Blocked by Feature #4143: Security Mode Command needs distinct UEA1 and UEA2 options added
- Assignee set to neels
- Priority changed from Normal to High
I don't actually think that the referenced patch from one year ago (https://gerrit.osmocom.org/c/osmo-msc/+/15175) works.
While one can now select whether encryption should be enabled or disable in UTRAN, the code never passses the ck to ranap_new_msg_sec_mod_cmd() and hence the air interface will always only use integrity protection and no encryption at all:
The ck argument is always NULL, I don't see how the proper key would have ever been passed down?
