Description
The question came up at a recent OsmoDevCall.
- Osmo-BSC is lacking support to run more than one BTS on a DUG.
- There are "workarounds", involving having more than one DUG/E1 but this is extra power comsumption, plus quite a "waste" of Hardware, consider having three DUGs for a 3 sector site, when 1 can theoretically do it.
- I wonder might it be possible to run two osmo-bsc instances communicating with the same DUG over distinct E1 ports. (The iceE1 has potential for two ports.) Or for the time being, by using two iceE1?
