Farsite FarSync X.21¶

Farsite is a manufacturer of a variety of WAN interface cards.

laforge got himself a 2nd hand FarSync T2U card, a dual-port X.21 PCI card.

This wiki page will document any progress in using this card in a modern Linux environment, e.g. to interact with X.25 modems and the like.

Mainline Linux driver on Debian 11¶

The card was recognized by the farsync driver that ships with the standard Debian 11 kernel package, and rendered two hdlc0 + hdlc1 net-devices.
