isdn4linux setup¶
This page describes how a classic isdn4linux setup can be put together, even in 2022.
Operating System¶
- Debian 5 (lenny) seems to be the least old Debian version that didn't yet switch to mISDN. It features a kernel version 2.6.26 with all of the classic i4l modules
Installation¶
You can no longer use te netinst
iso images as the signature keys for the repositories have expired. A work-around is to use the full CD/DVD image for the basic installation.
Configuration¶
apt feeds¶
The original apt package feeds are no longer available, you need to switch to archive.debian.org
FIXME: sample /etc/apt/sources.list
ignore expired key¶
The signature keys for lenny have long expired. You can either run your computer with an ancient date (and no ntp), or you can disable verificaiton of the key materia.
FIXME: sample /etc/apt.conf.d snippet
