 This website

Trac is intended a '''minimalistic''' approach to collect information about publicly-known security issues '''web-based''' management of
'''software projects'''. Its goal is to simplify effective tracking and other bugs handling of mobile communications systems, with a particular focus on the 3GPP-specified protocol layers of GSM, GPRS, EDGE software issues, enhancements and WCDMA(UMTS). We collect informationon issues at any protocol layer and at any overall progress.

All aspects of Trac have been designed with the interfaces, i.e. the Um air interface just as well as A-bis, A, IuB, C or any single goal to
'''help developers write great software''' while '''staying out of the SS7/MAP/TCAP based core network interfaces.

The issues can roughly be divided in
  * '''Specification Issues''', which are problems resulting from how the specification is written.
Thus, all implementations will exhibit the same problem, way'''
and imposing as long little as they are compliant with the
    specification
  * '''Implementation Issues''', which are problems resulting from how possible on a given standard/protocol team's established process and
 culture.

As all Wiki pages, this page is
    implemented by a given vendor/manufacturer.

Many editable, this means that you can
modify the contents of those issues have been discovered this page simply by the Osmcocom developer team while working using your
web-browser. Simply click on software that is part of the Osmocom project, like [http://openbsc.osmocom.org OpenBSC], [http://bb.osmocom.org/ OsmocomBB], [http://openbsc.osmocom.org/trac/wiki/OsmoSGSN OsmoSGSN]

 == Intentions ==

The intention of "Edit this project is to bring more public awareness to page" link at the security issues bottom
of mobile communications. Compared with the IT security community page. WikiFormatting will give you a detailed description of the Internet, the mobile world has
 available Wiki formatting commands.

 "[wiki:TracAdmin trac-admin] ''yourenvdir'' initenv" created
a lack new Trac environment, containing a default set of security culture, wiki pages and particularly some sample
data. This newly created environment also contains
[wiki:TracGuide documentation] to help you get started with your project.

You can use [wiki:TracAdmin trac-admin] to configure
[http://trac.edgewall.org/ Trac] to better fit your project, especially in
regard to ''components'', ''versions'' and ''milestones''.

TracGuide is a lack of public disclosure processes. Also, we see many self-proclaimed ''mobile security experts'' abusing their power from knowing about issues that have never been properly publicly disclosed. We want good place to bring more transparency into this field.

 start.

 Enjoy! [[BR]]
