Description
Gs is a BSSMAP based interface for paging coordination and combined RAU/LU. It reduces the LU load on the air inteface significantly, as each MS only needs to talk to the SGSN, rather than to both the SGSN and then the BSC/MSC to perform a location update.
This allows us to support NMO I, instead of the current NMO II / III.
- BSSMAP+ is a SCCP Connectionless protocol between SGSN and MSC/VLR
