Gs interface (BSSMAP+) between SGSN and MSC/VLR
Gs is a BSSMAP based interface for paging coordination and combined RAU/LU. It reduces the LU load on the air inteface significantly, as each MS only needs to talk to the SGSN, rather than to both the SGSN and then the BSC/MSC to perform a location update.
This allows us to support NMO I, instead of the current NMO II / III.
- BSSMAP+ is a SCCP Connectionless protocol between SGSN and MSC/VLR
- initial libosmocore definitions for Gs are in
- TTCN3 module for BSSAP+ is available at https://git.eclipse.org/c/titan/titan.ProtocolModules.BSSAPP_v7.3.0.git
