Description

The best option would be taking a backup, then erase existing content completely and install everything from scratch using ansible to be able to easily set up a new one. Then provide ansible scripts in osmo-gsm-tester repo.

Take the chance to also resolve #2463. Perhaps it's only a matter of describing in the "Jenkins Slave Setup" wiki page that there's an ansible job and point with a link to the ansible files in osmo-gsm-tester git repo.

  • Assignee changed from 55360 to lynxis

lynxis: As you already have some experience with ansible, is it fine for you to start with it? at least create the basic structure (like creating the ansible books/dirs/files needed 9 in osmo-gsm-tester.git and adding a few install commands for debian9 to start with).

Most of the required install instructions can be found in: http://ftp.osmocom.org/docs/latest/osmo-gsm-tester-manual.pdf

I can continue/finish the work if you want, but I'd welcome if you did the initial steps for me.
