Description

This is since commit 2ff4592ffc, reverting that commit restores operation.

I'm not 100% sure what's happening, but i think this diff between a binary with the commit reverted and master shows something happening out of order. Something is happening in master before l1if_open() logs "sysmoBTSv2 L1IF compiled against...."

It may be something needs to be called in l1_fwd_main.c (maybe l1_transp_fwd.c) now to match new logic?

If this diff is not enough, I can post more logs etc

Hey, I can give it a try again, with L1 forwarding, but just to say that I think I was mistaken in assuming that this was L1 forwarding related. That was because due to the race condition, I assumed the on-board osmo-bts-sysmo was working but the L1 forwarding was not. Turned out both were failing.
