h1. OsmoCon 2017
*OsmoCon OsmoCon (Osmocom Conference) 2017 is the first technical conference for Osmocom users, operators and developers!* developers!
For 9 years after starting the first Free Software GSM network side implementation that became known as the OpenBSC project and its many siblings, it is about time ever, to bring together the Osmocom Conference brings together users, operators user, operator and developers of developer community around the Osmocom Open Source cellular infrastructure projects, such as OsmoBTS, OsmoBSC, OsmoSGSN, OpenGGSN and others.
Join us project for a full day of talks and discussions with technical conferences around the main developers behind Open Source Mobile Communications, as well as commercial and non-profit users of the Osmocom cellular infrastructure software. projects.

The detailed Agenda is TBC TBD and is discussed in Issue #1887, but #1887.
Topics are selected based on how relevant they are to users / operators of Osmocom based cellular networks and will include the following topics: likely include:
* Funning running a basic circuit-switched Osmocom GSM network
* Configuring + Running interfacing a VoIP operator and/or PBXs via SIP
* running GPRS/EDGE data services with OsmoPCU, OsmoSGSN and OpenGGSN
* Interfacing a VoIP using osmo-sip-connector fundamental GSM radio frequency planning
* Setting setting up + running "3G in a 3G network using osmo-iuh Box" with osmo-iuh, OsmoCSCN, OsmoSGSN and a femto/small cell OpenGGSN
* Using GSUP + core network elements for roaming integration
* using the Osmocom osmocom control interface
* Osmocom Roadmap
* Reporting efficiently investigate and investigating report issues in Osmocom using wireshark, GSMTAP and libosmocore logging
* Osmcoom Project Infrastructure (redmine, mailman, Osmocom infrastructure, redmine, git, gerrit, jenkins & Co)
* Fundamental GSM radio frequency planning
All presentations will be made by Osmocom developers sharing their expertise with jenkins.. (the policy and tradition as much as the audience. tech)

Tickets include
