divf yate: calls to wave playback or loopback never connect

Description

I think we've had this problem before, but I don't recall how we worked around it. For sure after my yate upgrade (or the diaplan changes yesterday) we get the following behaviour:

  • loopback doesn't ever answer
  • wave playback happens at early audio before the call ever connects

any ideas?

This has never worked properly for me.
It works when connecting through DIVF with another yate or asterisk, but having the Auerswald directly connected (via osmo-e1d) to DIVF causes this behaviour.
No idea why.

Mh, ok. I thought we had that working at some point. I remember spending quite some time debugging it with msgsniff etc. - it was something about the call.answer event/message not being generated.

this observation makes me think it's related to overlap dialling. maybe it works without overlap but doesn't work with overlap.
