NITB End to End testing
Mentor Holger Freyther
Skills C, Smalltalk, Python
Length 4-20 weeks

=== Goal ===
We have an existing simulated BTS written in Smalltalk. This should be used as a basis for building end to end tests. The benefit of a simulated BTS is that it is trivial to inject failures. The goal is to improve the testing framework itself and to write as many tests as possible.

The second part is to use our Modembank (16 GSM modems) to do real end to end tests involving the RF interface.

As part of writing the tests the code coverage should be determined using the lcov scripts.
