RUS 01 B3¶
Connectors¶
PWR¶
The power connector is the same type as is used for the DUG 20 or DUL 20: https://www.te.com/usa-en/product-1982299-3.html
A jumper cable with this connector on both sides is called RPM 777 193/xxxxx (where xxxxxx is the length in mm).
LEDs¶
Front-Haul interface (CPRI)¶
These look like SFP connectors, but are not. They are of a special connector type, but have the same electrical signaling.
We presume Ericsson did this so you cannot easily use a RUS remotely by plugging in a SFP transceiver for fiber optic transmission.
Instead, you have to use special copper CPRI cables from Ericsson: RPM 777 211/xxxxx where xxxxx is the length in mm.
RF¶
The antenna connection is on a 7/16 type connector; it serves both Rx and Tx due to the internal duplexer.
Thre are miscellaneous RXA / RXB connectors which are presumably used in diversity applications or if multiple radios are used in the smae sector.
RXA OUT RXB I/O¶
PA-Filter Jumper¶
This jumper cable connects the output of the TX power amplifier (PA) with the cavity duplexer/filter.
Connector on the Back¶
This connector is presumably only used during production and service.
