Mediatek MT6235¶
The Mediatek MT6235 is a relatively modern baseband chipset made by Taiwan-based Mediatek.
It inherits a lot from the MT622x (6223,6225,6227,6228) chipsets, but instead of their ARM7TDMI
microcontroller, the MT6235 has a ARM926EJ-S, supporting the ARMv5TE instruction set and featuring
a full MMU.
This means that the MT6235 is capable of running a regular Linux kernel, as soon as somebody has
implemented the device drivers for the SoC internal peripherals.
