h1. Tixi Message Modem ISDN & Fax (Model: EF20-BB)

An ISDN terminal adapter made by the German company "Tixi.Com GmbH & Co. KG":https://web.archive.org/web/20181021133830/http://www.tixi.com/index.php?id=275&L=1

When connected to an external PC the AT-command mode (ModemMode) is used.

The device can also operate autonomously in the following modes:

* Express Email - directly via Phone Lines (no internet connection needed)

* SMS - Send an SMS message (mobile and PSTN)

* FAX - Send text as fax

* EMail - Send Internet e-mail(POP3 over a PPP internet connection)

* POP3 - Get Internet e-mail (POP3 over a PPP internet connection)

* RS232 Transparent Mode (TransMode)

** switches the RS232 line to a connected device during dial-in from the outside so that the device can be controlled remotely.
