Siemens Datenanschaltgeraet (DAG)¶

This is an analog modem for leased lines produced by Siemens for Deutsche Telekom.

It was presumably used as part of the Datex-P network.

The term modem might actually be wrong as it is suspected to use un-modulated baseband communication to transfer 64kBps between the user equipment and the nearest data central office.
